Shawn Fleek is a strategic consultant, storyteller, and organizational development professional dedicated to advancing social justice and community-centered change. As Principal of his consulting group Summon Monster, he works with mission-driven organizations and initiatives, applying his expertise in narrative strategy, coalition building, and creative engagement to support efforts for equity and systemic transformation. A proud Northern Arapaho man, dad, and husband, Shawn draws on both personal experience and a lifelong commitment to public service to help amplify the voices and strengths of communities working toward a more just and liberated future.

Shawn’s roots in grassroots activism and storytelling stretch back to his youth, when he used writing, community organizing, and creative expression to challenge the status quo and uplift collective action. Over nearly two decades, he has contributed to social justice movements, supported environmental and civic engagement efforts, and helped organizations align their missions with compelling narratives that drive impact. Beyond his professional work, Shawn channels his creativity into writing, music, art, and community building, and lives in Portland, Oregon with his family.
