Stephen is the founder and CEO of Vanport Studio, a brand development, business strategy, and growth platform for BIPOC entrepreneurs.

Stephen is an entrepreneur, economist, and civic connector. He is a founding member of Better Portland, an organization that supports over 400 independent member businesses and works to ensure small businesses have a seat at the table in shaping Portland's future.

Stephen is also the founder of Pitch Black, a pitch competition series that gives Black and Latiné startup entrepreneurs a platform to promote their ideas, compete for funding, and make critically important connections within the startup ecosystem.
