Jo Davis

Jo Davis (she/her/ella) comes to North Star with a career that spans public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and a lifelong focus on breaking down barriers to opportunity. Her career is defined by a deep background in the financial sector, complemented by a strategic tenure in municipal government. Whether working within city bureaus or corporate finance, she has focused on transforming how institutions operate, designing inclusive frameworks that move capital and resources into the communities that need them most.
Jo’s commitment to economic inclusion extends directly into public policy; she helped shape state-level strategy on the Oregon Joint Task Force on Addressing Racial Disparities in Homeownership and has actively championed the Oregon IDA Initiative. She currently serves as a board member and treasurer for the Northwest Health Foundation.
Outside of board meetings and community events, Jo is likely spending time with her 10-year-old, working on yard projects, or grabbing a warm beverage at Coava.
