Winning Jobs Narrative Training / NSCF & NWHF

Join us on Wednesday April 19th, 9–10:30am for a virtual training on the Winning Jobs Narrative to learn how you can incorporate this research into your communications and community engagement.

For years community and elected leaders have struggled to find clear and consistent language to effectively communicate about jobs and the economy. The Winning Jobs Narrative addresses this challenge by creating a narrative architecture for talking about jobs, work, and the economy in ways that strengthen our connections with working people across race, geography, and issues.

The Winning Jobs Narrative approach was developed following two full years of research across 17 states, including focus groups, ethnographic interviews, canvass testing and multiple rounds of surveys. The narrative tools and message framing have been adopted by community, candidate, and issue campaigns from the local to Federal level, ranging from the child tax credit to immigration, and from student debt relief to the Inflation Reduction Act.
